Organize PDF pages

100% private

Rotate, delete, reorder and extract pages, then save the PDF back out. The file is read on this device and never uploaded.

Drop your PDF here Or choose it from your device. It stays on your device — we never see it, and there is nowhere for it to be sent.
Your pages

Drag a page to move it. The buttons on each tile turn or remove it. Tap a page to select it — shift-tap for a run — then use the bulk buttons.

1 Edit the pages

Every page has its own buttons for turning and removing. To do several at once, tap them — shift-tap takes a run — then use these. With nothing selected, the turn buttons act on the whole document.

Step by step

How to organize PDF pages

Four steps, no account, no email address, and no watermark on the result.

Add your PDF

Drag it anywhere onto this page, or press Choose a PDF. Every page appears as a thumbnail, rendered on your own device.

Turn what is sideways

Press the turn button on any page, or select several and turn them together. With nothing selected, Turn right rotates the whole document — which is what a scan fed in the wrong way round usually needs.

Remove and reorder

The × on a tile removes that page. Drag a tile, or use its arrows, to move it. Nothing is written to disk while you do any of this — your original file is untouched until you press the button.

Save and download

Press the button once. It fills up as it works, turns green, and saves the edited PDF.

Private by design

Why this editor can’t leak your document

Every page organiser that ranks for this search uploads your document in order to fix a page that is upside down. That is a strange trade: a scanned ID, a signed contract or a medical report goes to a server and sits there for an hour so that a number in a page dictionary can be changed from 0 to 90. Rotating, deleting and reordering pages are the cheapest operations in the entire PDF format, and there has never been a technical reason for any of them to leave your machine.

Zero uploads

The editor is downloaded to your browser once. From then on it reads your PDFs straight off your own disk and writes the new one in this tab. Your documents never enter a network request, so there is no copy of them anywhere for us to keep, lose, or be compelled to hand over.

No retention, because there is nothing to retain

The big converters upload your file and promise to delete it in an hour. That is a promise about a copy they have already taken. Here there is no copy and no hour — the result exists in this browser tab, and closing the tab is the whole of the deletion.

No account, no cap, no watermark

No sign-up, no email address, no 100 MB free-tier ceiling, no watermark stamped across your document, and no paid tier that unlocks the one option you actually needed.

To be precise about what does leave your device — because “100% private” is easy to say and worth checking. Two things, neither of them your documents:

1. When a PDF is written, this page sends one anonymous message to our counter saying “organize-pdf was used”. No file, no file name, no page count, nothing identifying you. It exists so the usage number above is a real one rather than something we invented.
2. Google Analytics records the page view and that a PDF was edited, the same as on every other page of this site. We don’t send it anything about your documents. You can block it and the tool works exactly the same.

Your PDFs are in none of that. They never enter a network request — and unlike a promise, that is something you can check for yourself. Turn off your wifi, reload this page, and use it anyway. It still works. No upload-based tool can pass that test.

Tool specifications

InputOne or more PDF files. Any version, including PDF 2.0
OutputOne PDF with your edits applied, or just the pages you selected
OperationsRotate in 90° steps · delete · reorder by drag or arrows · extract a selection · combine several documents
Page qualityUntouched. Rotation sets the page’s own rotation value rather than redrawing it, so nothing is ever re-rendered or re-compressed
Existing rotationRespected. A page already stored sideways is shown upright, and a turn is applied on top of what is already there
SelectionTap to select, shift-tap for a run of pages, Select all, or Invert
SafetyA PDF must keep at least one page, so removing every page is refused rather than allowed and then failing
Password-protected PDFsSupported. Type the password once and it is used on this device only — it is never sent anywhere. Files that are merely “restricted” (an owner password, no open password) are handled without asking you at all
BookmarksNot carried into the result. Pages, text, images, links and filled-in form values all come through; the clickable contents tree does not
Digital signaturesInvalidated, as they are by every tool that edits a PDF, including Adobe’s — a signature certifies the exact bytes it was applied to
MetadataThe result starts clean: the title, author and creating application of the source are dropped unless you tick Keep the title and author. A PDF’s title is very often the original file path
Maximum size50 files and 300 MB in total at once
Where processing happensIn your browser, on your device — nothing is uploaded
Works offlineYes, once the page has loaded

Questions

Organizing PDF pages, answered

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Every edit happens inside your browser, using code that was downloaded to your device. Your document is read from your own disk and never placed in a network request. The simplest proof: disconnect from the internet and edit something — it still works.
How do I rotate a PDF that scanned in sideways?
Add it and press Turn right with nothing selected — that turns every page at once, which is what a document fed into a scanner the wrong way round needs. If only some pages are sideways, tap those first and the button acts on just them.
Does rotating a page make it blurry?
No, and it cannot. A PDF page carries its own rotation value, and turning it means changing that number from 0 to 90 — the page content is not redrawn, re-rendered or re-compressed. This is why rotation is instant here even on a large scan, and why the file size barely changes.
How do I delete pages from a PDF?
Press the × on any page to remove it, or tap several pages and use Remove selected. Nothing is written until you press the main button, so the file on your disk is untouched while you work, and starting over costs nothing. Removing every page is refused, because a PDF needs at least one.
Can I pull a few pages out into a new document?
Yes. Tap the pages you want, tick Save only the pages I selected, and press the button — you get a document containing just those pages, in the order they appear. If you need each page as a separate file instead, Split PDF does that.
Can I organise pages across two different PDFs?
Yes. Add both files and their pages appear in one grid, colour-coded by which document they came from, and you can drag pages between them freely. If all you want is the files joined end to end, Merge PDF is the simpler way round.
Will I lose bookmarks or form fields?
Bookmarks, yes — the clickable contents tree does not survive a page edit, though every page, all its text and its links do. Fillable forms keep their values but may stop being editable. The tool checks your document and warns you by name when either actually applies, instead of showing everyone a disclaimer they would learn to skip.
Do I need to sign up or pay?
No. There is no account, no email capture, no watermark and no paid tier. Nopturnia funds itself through affiliate links on its product buying guides, not through these tools.
