GPU prices in India
Every graphics card, tracked daily
What each graphics card actually costs on Amazon.in today, how far every chip has moved since August — measured like for like from our own daily price record — and the sourced reasons prices keep climbing.

What every GPU costs in India today
One row per chip. Cheapest today is the lowest live price for a card you can actually order; typical card is the middle of every buyable listing, which is closer to what most people end up paying. Price change is the column this page exists for: each card measured against its own earlier price, so a new cheap listing cannot fake a fall and a vanished one cannot fake a rise. Checked 19 Oct 2026 against live Amazon.in offers. Of 170 graphics-card listings we track, we show 90: 77 had no buyable offer today, 3 were priced far from every other card with the same chip, and 5 were from sellers we could not identify as a board partner. Price change is like for like: each card against its own earlier price, never today’s cheapest against a different card.
02 Grouped by chip, cheapest first
Every card you can buy
Every listing here passed the same four checks: it is a graphics card rather than a PC that mentions one, it comes from a recognised board partner, it had a live offer on the day we checked, and its price is in line with other cards on the same chip. The strip under each card is live and shows where today’s price sits in that card’s own history.

Why GPU prices keep rising
The short answer is memory. The long answer is below, one claim at a time, each rated for how sure anyone can be, quoted in the source’s own words and archived so it survives an edit or a deletion. “Confirmed” means a company said it on the record; NVIDIA and AMD have confirmed none of the price moves reported here, which is itself worth knowing. The same shortage is behind the delay reports on the PlayStation 6.

The memory shortage gets worse, not better
ConfirmedMicron expects memory supply to be much tighter in 2027 and 2028 than in 2026.
Micron is one of the three companies that make the memory on every graphics card. When the supplier itself says the squeeze tightens for two more years, waiting for GPU prices to 'normalise' is a bet against the people who make the parts.
Industry demand has strengthened since our last earnings call, and we expect memory and storage supply-demand conditions to be much tighter in fiscal 2027 and 2028 than they were in 2026.

Fewer GPUs to go round
WeakNVIDIA cut GPU allocations to its card-making partners by 15 to 20 percent in January 2026.
One leaker, never confirmed by NVIDIA. It is consistent with what this page measures: nearly half the graphics-card listings we track on Amazon.in have no buyable offer at all.
In January 2026, hardware leaker MEGAsizeGPU posted on X that NVIDIA had reduced GPU allocations to its add-in card (AIC) partners — the companies that actually manufacture and sell the discrete graphics cards consumers buy — by 15 to 20 percent.

NVIDIA raised what card makers pay
StrongNVIDIA raised the price of the GPU-and-memory kits it sells to card makers, across RTX 50 and older GDDR6 cards.
Rated strong because several outlets confirmed the BenchLife report within a day, though NVIDIA itself has made no statement. On our record, the biggest single moves in the RTX 5050, 5060 and 5060 Ti rows all landed in August, within weeks of this notice.
NVIDIA has notified its add-in board (AIB) partners of a sweeping new round of GPU kit price increases covering both GDDR7-based Blackwell RTX 50 series cards and older GeForce products using GDDR6

AMD raised Radeon prices in China
WeakAMD raised its Q3 2026 channel guidance for Radeon RX 9000 cards by about 5 to 20 percent.
China guidance, not an Indian or global price list, and from a single channel source. It is evidence of direction, not a number to expect in India.
AMD has raised its Q3 2026 sales guidance prices for Radeon RX 9000 graphics cards, with increases ranging from about 5 percent to 20 percent depending on the model.

And again from 1 October
WeakAMD raised suggested retail prices for most current Radeon cards again from 1 October.
Same caveat: China pricing, one source, and the RX 9070 XT reportedly held its price in this round. Compare the AMD rows in the table above to see what Amazon.in actually did.
AMD has reportedly increased suggested retail pricing for most of its current Radeon graphics cards, with the new structure said to have taken effect on October 1.

RTX 50 Super postponed
StrongNVIDIA postponed the RTX 50 Super refresh because it needs scarce, denser GDDR7 memory.
Rated strong: The Information has a strong record on NVIDIA, and later supply-chain reports say finished cards are sitting with board partners waiting on memory prices. Do not hold off on a purchase for a Super card that has no date.
According to The Information, NVIDIA has reportedly entirely postponed the launch of its GeForce RTX 50 "SUPER" refresh, as the company's executives are prioritizing AI accelerators over the gaming sector, which consumes precious cutting edge GDDR7 memory.

RTX 60 slips to 2028
MixedNVIDIA's next-generation RTX 60 chips are a 2028 product.
KeplerL2 says the same; Moore's Law Is Dead says an NVIDIA source told the channel the first half of 2027. Two respected leakers against one is not a settled answer, which is why this is rated mixed. Either way, there is no next generation to wait for this year.
"Unfortunately, GR20x is a product from 2028. That means they have postponed again," the leaker posted on X.

My three calls, and how you can check them
Three predictions about the GPU market, each falsifiable and each naming exactly what it will be scored against. They are mine, kept apart from the claims above, and they will be marked right or wrong on this page when the date arrives.

Call 1
Whether the RTX 50 Super reaches India soon
Not yet scoredNo RTX 50 Super graphics card will have a buyable listing on Amazon.in before 1 April 2027.
How it is measured: A Nopturnia estimate, logged on 19 October 2026. The Super cards were postponed in February because they need 3 GB GDDR7 modules, and the memory they depend on has only become scarcer since: Micron's CEO said on 30 September that supply will be much tighter in 2027 and 2028 than in 2026. Even if NVIDIA announces the cards early in 2027, a global launch reaching Amazon.in with a real offer within weeks would be unusual for a supply-constrained product.
Scored against: The first day any RTX 50 Super card (5070 Super, 5070 Ti Super or 5080 Super) shows a buyable offer on Amazon.in, checked through the same live-offer test this page uses for every card.

Call 2
When the RTX 60 series arrives
Not yet scoredNVIDIA will not put any RTX 60-series desktop graphics card on retail sale anywhere in calendar 2027.
How it is measured: A Nopturnia estimate, logged on 19 October 2026. kopite7kimi — who had earlier pointed at the second half of 2027 — now says the chips are a 2028 product, and KeplerL2 has said the same. Moore's Law Is Dead disagrees, which is why the claim above is rated mixed. I side with the two who moved later rather than earlier, because the memory and foundry constraints they cite have tightened, not eased, since the earlier date was floated.
Scored against: NVIDIA's own announced retail availability date for the first RTX 60-series desktop card, in any country.

Call 3
Whether mainstream cards get cheaper in India
Not yet scoredOn 31 March 2027, the median price of the RTX 5060 cards you can buy on Amazon.in will be higher than ₹61,745, its level on 19 October 2026.
How it is measured: A Nopturnia estimate, logged on 19 October 2026, against this page's own data. The RTX 5060 is the most-listed current chip on Amazon.in (11 buyable cards on the day this call was made), so its median is the steadiest single measure of what a mainstream gamer pays. NVIDIA has raised the price of the GPU-and-memory kits it sells to card makers, and the memory shortage behind that is forecast to worsen through 2028. I expect a further rise rather than relief — and if the median is lower in March, this call is wrong.
Scored against: The median live Amazon.in price of every buyable RTX 5060 card passing this page's quality checks, on 31 March 2027.
05 Our method
How this page works
We record the Amazon.in price of every product in our catalogue once a day. For this page, every graphics-card listing is matched to its chip — with 8 GB and 16 GB versions kept apart where both exist — and then checked against Amazon’s live offer on the day of the update. A listing with no buyable offer is dropped, because a price nobody can pay is not a price.
Price change is a like-for-like index. Each card with at least four weeks of record is compared with its own first price, and the chip’s figure is the median of those changes. Most chips are measured from early August; a few whose cards joined our catalogue later are measured from their own start date, which the table states. A chip with a single card in its index says so — read it as one card, not a market.
We hide listings priced far above or below every other card with the same chip, and listings from sellers we cannot identify as a board partner. The count of everything hidden is printed under the table. Prices are rechecked every fortnight, the strip under each card is live in between, and affiliate commission never decides which cards appear — the checks above do.

Tracker opened: 90 buyable graphics cards across 19 chips, each priced live on Amazon.in and measured against its own daily record since early August. 77 listings were dropped for having no buyable offer and 3 for being priced far from every other card with the same chip. Added 28 cards our catalogue lacked, including the RX 9070 GRE and RX 9070. Three calls logged: the RTX 50 Super in India, the RTX 60 launch year, and where the RTX 5060's median price will be in March. #
